AWARDED LARGE EMPLOYER OF THE YEAR IN THE EAST MIDLANDS 2019 NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP AWARDS
Following on from the Apprenticeship Levy, we developed a cutting-edge training programme which started off in our Leicester factory. We now have over 300 apprentices in our scheme.

INSTITUTE OF PHYSICS AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING INNOVATION WORK IN 2018
The Institute of Physics recognised us as part of its 2018 Business Innovation Awards for the development of breakthrough snack products through the application of soft matter physics.
'FOOD AND DRINK ENGINEER OF THE YEAR' 2018 - PEPSICO'S CHRIS QUARMBY
Chris has been with PepsiCo for 28 years and has successfully delivered a number of projects which sit far outside of his day-to-day responsibilities, demonstrating his dedication and willingness to support his team mates.
ENVIRONMENTAL LEADERSHIP AWARD
We were presented with the Food & Drink Federation’s Environmental Leadership award for our ’50 in 5’ programme which successfully halved the amount of water and carbon used to grow potatoes for Walkers crisps in water-stressed areas.
WON IGD AWARD FOR DIGITAL ENGAGEMENT IN 2018
We were honoured at the prestigious industry awards for the Walkers independent retailer website ‘Counts for More’; judges were particularly impressed by the speed of implementation.
