Scott's Porage Oats

Home of Scotland's iconic stone putter, Scott's is the home nation's favourite brand of oats.

Scott's was established in 1880 and has been milling oats in Scotland for over 100 years.

Only the highest quality oats and milling processes are used to make Scott's Porage Oats. The oats are rolled thicker and gently kilned to create Scott's distinctive taste and texture.

Scott's Porage Oats are made in Cupar, Scotland and many of its oat growers are based in the Scottish Highlands. The mill in Cupar is one of the largest in Western Europe.

Partnership with Scottish Rugby

In January 2010, Scott's launched a limited edition range of packaging in partnership with Scottish Rugby. Scotland rugby stars Chris Paterson, Thom Evans and Ross Ford were all featured on their own packs of oats in a style akin to the original stone putter.

The new packaging proved extremely popular and was Scott's first major packaging change since switching from monochrome to colour in 1955.

The health benefits of oats

Scott's Porage Oats contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Every serving of Scott's contains enough beta glucan to help lower cholesterol and maintain a healthy heart.

Oats are also a good source of protein and soluble fibre, which helps release energy slowly. This means that a bowl of Scott's for breakfast will sustain you until lunchtime.
