Unlike traditional Quaker oats, Paw Ridge oats are finely milled to create a smoother, creamier texture that appeals to children.
The Paw Ridge range contains all the benefits of wholegrain oats - a valuable source of fibre and fuel for the day - and also contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Paw Ridge also meets the FSA's nutrient profiling model for products advertised to children.
To help encourage children to enjoy porridge, the Paw Ridge brand has been developed with five cartoon characters, which children can interact with via the Paw Ridge website.
Specially designed for eight to 12 year olds
The Paw Ridge brand has been designed specifically to appeal to eight to 12 year olds. Creative on pack visuals, augmented reality - which allows Marv, the lead character, to be viewed in 3D - and a compelling website provide a sense of adventure for children to engage with.
Paw Ridge and nutrition
The oats used in Paw Ridge are a wholegrain food and a source of insoluble and soluble fibre. The insoluble fibre in oats helps maintain a healthy digestive system. The soluble fibre in oats is called beta glucan which releases energy slowly, helping to keep you feeling fuller for longer.
Labelling for healthy choice
At Quaker, we know the importance of a healthy, balanced, and varied diet. This is why all our products have a Guideline Daily Amount (GDA) label on the front.
This label shows the amount of energy and key nutrients provided in a portion of the product, and the contribution that it makes to the GDA for that nutrient, making it easier for consumers to make informed decisions about a healthy balanced diet.
