Snack a Jacks' Hot and Smokey set for sizzling sales

Two tasty new flavours added to Snack a Jacks for summer.

Snack a Jacks, the UK's number one healthier snack*, is launching two tantalising flavours Hot Tomato and Smokey Bacon which will extend consumer choice and drive red hot summer sales.

Consumer research shows that herbs and spice and meaty flavours are popular amongst female shoppers**. Snack a Jacks are planning to capitalise on this opportunity by expanding their tasty offerings with the addition of Hot Tomato and Smokey Bacon flavours.

Building on the success of the existing Sweet Chilli flavour, the new Hot Tomato spicey flavour is set to increase the everyday appeal of the brand and offer even greater variety for consumers.

Meaty flavours are currently driving incremental sales within the category - 8.6% of Snack a Jacks consumers solely buy BBQ flavour. By launching Smokey Bacon, Snack a Jacks are set take another bite of the meat flavoured snack market, which is set to capitalise on this trend and drive high loyalty amongst consumers.

Hot Tomato and Smokey Bacon contain 8% and 7% fat respectively, enhancing their appeal to consumers who want to enjoy permissible snacking and get into shape in the run up to the summer season.

The new flavours will be rolling into stores from the end of July in the new packaging which have been designed to create better differentiation between flavours and help consumers navigate the fixture.
