When it comes to snacks it seems that size does matter particularly with women who want big great tasting snacks without the calorific content. Snack-A-Jack's top selling flavour Salt & Vinegar, currently worth £8.5 million1, is going even bigger with the launch of a new Jumbo variety.
With 84% of existing consumers already indicating a desire to buy2 the launch provides a huge incremental sales opportunity and is expected to grow the better-for-you snacks category currently worth £135 million3.
The combination of only 45 calories per cake and new packs that clearly display Snack-A-Jack's wholegrain credentials, means retailers can further build on consumer health trends. Providing another strong incentive to purchase by offering consumers a low guilt snacking sensation!
Following the success of Cheese and Caramel Jumbos which have both achieved the same level of sales as their 'Crispy' counterparts, consumer taste tests and purchase intent data4 indicate that Salt & Vinegar Jumbos are also set to be a big hit!.
These great tasting snacks also provide an easy way for consumers to incorporate wholegrain into their everyday diet the benefit of which has been highly publicised.

Salt & Vinegar Jumbos will be available to retailers from June with a RSP of £1.45 in line with other Snack-A-Jack Jumbo SKU's.
