Copella adds the 'Cherry on Top' for fruitful sales

Copella Apple & Cherry flavour to make a welcome return.

Copella, the UK's No.1 apple juice*, is branching out with an exciting new Apple & Cherry flavour set to grow fruitful sales. This mouth-watering flavour is taking Copella back to its roots with a new twist on its Apple & Morello Cherry, one of the first 'Apple &' varieties produced by Copella in the early 70s.

Copella, which has sales of over thirty million pounds**, is popular with consumers throughout the whole day. Over half (51%***) of the brand's sales currently come from its flavour variants and the new Apple & Cherry flavour is expected to appeal to this audience while also attracting new consumers to the category and driving incremental sales.

Copella Marketing Director Adrian Baty said: "Producing quality apple juice and creating new flavour innovation are important to Copella. Retailers that want to drive incremental sales should stock this mouth-watering flavour along side other Copella leading lines."

Copella Apple & Cherry will be supported with a neck collar promotion at launch, including a money off coupon to incentivise next purchase which will run for six weeks. Copella will also be driving sales of the new flavour by sampling to an estimated 40,000 consumers at the Hampton Court Flower Show and picnic concerts across the country to drive trial and sales. Further marketing activity includes; direct mail, digital and PR.
