Vitamins

Vitamins are complex organic substances in foods that are needed in very small amounts to help the body to function properly. Most vitamins can't be made by the body, so have to be provided in the diet. They have many different functions. For example, they help to keep you healthy by helping to release the energy from food and help with growth and repair of the body tissues.
