Quaker Oats promotional pack raising money for Magic Breakfast

The fundraising initiative is running on 1kg packs of Quaker Oats. Two million promotional packs have been commissioned by Quaker, who will donate 5p for every pack sold, helping to generate £100,000 for Magic Breakfast. As seen above, the promotional packs feature an updated design which aims to highlight the fundraising initiative and raise awareness for Magic Breakfast.

Magic Breakfast is a charity that seeks to provide breakfast for primary school children from deprived areas. In the UK an estimated 3.8m children grow up in severe income poverty. Magic Breakfast works with schools to enable some of these children to gain a nutritious start to the day that they would otherwise miss out on.

Quaker along with Tropicana and Magic Breakfast donates porridge oats to breakfast clubs which helps to provide a nutritious breakfast for thousands of school children. So far this year, Quaker along with Tropicana helped Magic Breakfast to provide breakfast for 80,000 school children.

Quaker, Tropicana and Magic Breakfast hope to reach 250 schools by the end of 2010. This would result in 10,000 school children benefiting from a healthy and nutritious breakfast at the start of every school day - a total of 2m breakfasts a year.

The promotional packs are available at a wide variety of retailers.
