Copella

Located in Boxford, Suffolk, Copella is the leading apple juice brand in the UK. Founded in the 1960s by Devora Peake and purchased by Tropicana in 1998, Copella became part of PepsiCo the following year.

Our reputation is built on Copella English Apple, a pure cloudy apple juice made with English apples. Other flavours in the range are Apple and Elderflower, Apple and Pear, Apple and Blackcurrant, Apple and Mango, and Apple and Raspberry.

Since pressing the first apple in 1969, Copella has become a household name and is widely available up and down the country and beyond.

Part of a healthy, balanced diet

All Copella juices are made from 100% fruit. There are no additives, preservatives, flavours or colours in any Copella juice.

Our juices are not from concentrate and we add no water. This means that our juices can form part of a healthy, balanced diet.

Every glass of Copella is the equivalent of one portion of fruit, contributing towards the Government's recommendation to consume at least five portions of a variety of fruit and vegetables daily. Our juices are also a source of vitamin C, with each 200ml glass providing 100% of the recommended daily allowance of vitamin C.

A truly local business

Nearly all the fruit pressed by Copella is sourced from the South East of England, with a significant proportion coming from the immediate local area.
This means that Copella not only makes an important contribution to the regional economy, but food miles are also kept to a minimum.

Sustainability

At Copella, we are committed to being an environmentally sustainable business.

We are working to reduce the amount of packaging we use and to increase the levels of recycling of used packaging.

Over the past five years, we have reduced the amount of materials used in our plastic bottles, including reducing the weight of a 250ml bottle by 18%. We are also running trials to investigate partially and fully recycled plastic bottles.

In recognition of our wider environmental efforts, we recently won the "Environmental Awareness" category of the Colchester Business District awards.
